Ashlie is used to being out on the farm, so when we took her to an old barn, she felt at home. She had the cutest dress I think I have ever seen, topping of the outfit with her boots and hat. She posed like a natural by the horse trailer, old Ford van, and the tractor. She is a country girl who took some amazing country pictures. Thanks Ashlie! Here are some of our favorites:

Saraya RMHS 2011

Saraya rocked her shoot. She was our first real "trash the dress" shoot. Like a trooper, she sat in the freezing cold water and kept her beautiful smile. She represented Rocky Mountain well, and we are lucky to have her on our model team. Jason had a great time with her. Thanks Saraya!

Emily FHS 2011

What a way to kick off the senior model shoots. Emily was the first of many, and she set the bar high. Her pictures turned out beautifully! She won the hair and make-up package from Karli Croft at our model party. So, she went to get hair and make-up, enjoyed a little bit of Kuna, and then came in for her shoot. She was a natural. New Backdrop

So here at the studio, we have been doing some major demo and remodeling. We tore off all the old sheet rock on the north wall to expose the original lathe and plaster and brick. We still have a ways to go, but we asked one of our senior models (Brittni) to model for us once again, so everyone can see what we are creating. It is going to make for some great senior and family portraits! Check, Check, Check it out!!!

We at Hill Photography would like to send out a big congratulations to Freya Ford for being named runner-up at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant! She represented Idaho fabulously and we had the pleasure of taking her picture before she left to compete for the title. We also had the pleasure of photographing Measha, the current Miss Rodeo Idaho last summer as well. Both beautiful cowgirls! (Freya is in the pink and Measha is in the red)

Nelson-Music Wedding

Aubrey and Justin Nelson were married on June 6th, 2009 at Indian Creek Winery in Kuna. (an absolutely incredible venue for a wedding) What started out as a scarey day because of rain ended up being the perfect fairy tale wedding. The rain held off till the end of the reception and all went smoothly. What a beautiful wedding and what a beautiful couple! We wish the newlyweds the best.

Spring Kids club is coming up! This year it is on the calendar for April 16-18th. Usually for spring-time we do baby chicks and ducks or something with flowers. Well this year we are ready to try something fun and different that we think you are going to really like. The theme for this spring is (drum roll) "Just Like Dad"! For this kids club you get to bring in props that have your little ones acting just like their daddy. Does their dad like to hunt or fish? Are they the football type? Is their dad a policeman, fireman, or business man with a briefcase? What is it about your kids' dad that they admire most? Below is our poster with some samples.
